Kasperwing.com would like to welcome new Kasperwing owner, David Vinson of Yukon, Oklahoma.

David and his wife, Samantha, recently drove from Oklahoma to Camano Island, WA., where they picked up the Kasperwing known as Window Wing that was listed on the website.   Dave has a hang-gliding background and brings lots of flying and mechanical skills to the party.

Arriving at the hangar around noon, David and I took the time to review all things Kasper and inspect his new flying machine.   David got some pointers on how to slip into and out of the harness and how to work the yoke to control the rudders for yaw and roll control.   With the temps in the balmy mid 40’s and new snow showing in the mountains, we pushed the Kasperwing outside and ran the Rotax 503 engine up.  It purred.  We spent the rest of our time together disassembling, packing, and tying down the Window Wing to the trailer Dave and his wife hauled out west.

We look forward to hearing about David’s flying adventures and seeing some great photos and/or videos.
