How to Attach your North-Star Harness to the Kasperwing

For the first few months I owned my Kasperwing I had been incorrectly attaching the harness to the Keel Tube causing the rig to slide back in flight and changing the center of gravity.  This is a dangerous condition so lets discuss how to correctly attach your harness to the Kasperwing.  In the image below we see a correctly configured harness attachment.   The carrabeaner is connected to one end of the nylon strap and the strap loops back on itself.  In this configuration as the pilot puts his/her weight on the harness the nylon strap tightens itself around the keel tube and upper frame half.   It is not possible to connect the harness with the nylon strap already looped through itself.  The fit is just to tight.  To correctly connect the carrabeaner you need to pass the clip through the strap hoop prior to putting weight on it.  Once connected slowly place weight on the rig and guide the carrabeaner through the loop.   Try this a few times and it should become clear how this works.

DO NOT CLIP THE CARRABEANER THROUGH BOTH ENDS OF THE NYLON STRAP.  THE RIG WILL NOT CORRECTLY TIGHTEN UP AND WILL SLIDE DOWN THE KEEL TUBE IN A CLIMB. THAT'S NO FUN TRUST ME!!!!
